Of course this album will start with a "Midare Zaki" mashup! For me no music in the series encapsulates the series concepts in both composition and lyrics better than this one. For me it will be forever the main theme of Senran Kagura in general.

This first track was, before the release, the version called "Numbing Bloom"* which is present in my Youtube channel. I used it as a placeholder for quite some time before adding this new one. The old track didn't age very well because I didn't have the knowledge and resources I have now. Especially considering I didn't have the full instrumental at the time and I even thought it didn't exist in the first place (a very real problem when it comes to Senran Kagura openings themes...). So in the end I needed to rework the thing from scratch to give this album something that was actually worth being the first track.

I decided to go with a similar direction I gave to "Crimson Crawl REDUX" (a track I finished before this one) and use more than one Linkin Park source to give it more variety while using parts of the original song at the same time.

I like using LP for some of my SK mashups because they remind me the dark and edgy themes the series has during some moments. Being a shinobi is (also) suffering after all and we are constantly reminded of that during those games.

Why the new name? I think that this version is surely a bit more "Chaotic" in comparison to the original due to the fact I used more sources.
