A question that always have plagued the community is: Why there isn't a Senran Kagura fighting game yet? So I decided to make a Street Fighter Alpha 2 remix with Senran Kagura references and a bit of inspiration on the instruments used for the series OSTs with that in mind. That's (almost) how the character select screen song would sound if we had a "Alpha" fighting game for SK!
What was also a great inspiration for this remix were the medley remixes from the "Senran Kagura 2 -Shinku- Nyuunyuu DX Pack", an especial edition that came with a Drama CD and a Remix CD. Tracks 4 and 5 from the Remix CD were a great inspiration!
And oh boy editing this one was intense! I had to hear the parts from each of the girls themes over and over again to get each note right! The results aren't perfect, but I think I managed to get some really cool results!
In the video where this remix made its debut I edited the video in a way that it looked like a character select screen from SF Alpha 2, but with Senran Kagura characters instead! Even put some characters in there in the place of others purposely to make references and jokes for each character slot when you compare it to the original game!
So yeah... I have some fond memories of this one.

The original compositions were made by Syun Nishigaki, Setsuo Yamamoto and Tatsuro Suzuki (Character Select song) and also Hunt "Sage" Bridges (midi conversion), Mutsumi Ishimura (Asuka and Yumi parts), Akihi Motoyama (Homura and Miyabi parts). If you hear something a little different that's probably my fault since I'm still learning to write music.
