This mashup is probably one of the best I ever did and it was also one hell of a problematic thing to make. In its first version my HDD was starting to die and working on it was a nightmare and in the version you can hear in this album I had to redo everything from scratch and had a lot of problems coming up with new things to set it apart from the original (and I think I kinda failed on that regard).

The redone version was mainly done thanks to the fact that I managed to make a better acapella of the Hikari to Yami no Kanata used in the original, where you could still hear the instruments from the acapella.

The idea at the first time I made this mashup was to put together a lot of references to previous I made for my Youtube channel at the time (and some new stuff I didn't use before at the time) while also mixing a bunch of sources that convey different feelings you get from the ending of the story in Burst (in both sides and also the beggining of Deep Crimson): Happiness, sorrow, rage, suffering, fun... That segment of the story was filled with a lot of things, that's what gives it beauty!

And all of that while putting a meme here and there like that Grand Dad thing there... Don't give me flak over that. At the time I made the first one the meme wasn't that old nor that overused. Thankfully that's the one and only time I ever used it on the channel and that you'll hear it in this album.

Two sources in particular should be highlighted:

- "Hikari to Yami no Kanata" was used to reference the fact that this song comes from Deep Crimson while also helping in conveying the feelings I mentioned before.

- "Happy" was used to reference how normally things end up in a happy ending in the series. Even if everything gets destroyed at the end, they always find a way to find happiness in the end.

In this redone version I also focused on making everything sound better too. Made a lot of sound tweaks like making the Flintstones segment a little bit less "dry".

So yeah... a lot of stuff!
